Our sweet friends The Wadsworth's came in town for the holiday break and the girls made sure they got to see their friends. Paige and Morgan came to lunch and we had a big mommy/daughter date.
Liz, Kelsey, Bella, Olivia and Morgan and their moms all met at Zupa's for a nice afternoon of catching up. Paige and Megan were inseparable before Paige moved to Washington. Her mom Lindsey was my rock for the first year here in Kaysville since all of our kids are exactly the same ages. She saved Megan when she got off at the wrong stop the first time she rode it. We carpooled to ballet. Just really enjoyed being around her and her amazing kids. It was heart breaking when she moved and then shortly after that my other new friend also moved. It was like starting over. Of course the only constant in life is change so I was happy for them to gain employment and be on to better things but it was difficult nonetheless.
I was grateful to have them stay in contact and to make the effort to meet up.
Paige would count for Megan how long she could hold a freezing ball of ice they found on the playground there at Station Park. She is freezing in this picture!
They had fun!
